FOIA reports, logs, and frequently requested records
In order to save the public time and effort, we publish
information about past FOIA requests. On this page you can find
records that are frequently requested, logs of past requests
including the results of those requests, quarterly and annual
reporting to the Department of Justice.
The records on this page are provided in the same format they area
distributed to the requestors. Therefore, some records may not
fully conform to applicable standards for use by persons with
disabilities per Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. An
accessible copy can be obtained using the contact information
below. Please note: The accessible copy may be altered to meet
disclosure requirements but will contain the same information
presented here.

visit our public Consumer Complaint Database. The Web-based database allows you to filter data based on
specific search criteria, or aggregate data in various ways, such
as by date received, complaint type, company, company response,
ZIP code, or state.
The Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge Act of 2012
(STOCK Act) requires CFPB Executives to file a statement
notifying the CFPB Ethics Office of any negotiation for,
or agreement of, future employment or compensation with a
non-federal entity no later than three business days after
commencement of the negotiation or agreement.
This contract provided the CFPB with the credit records of
sample consumers and the matching identifications without
any personally identifying information.
